Alternatives
Clay alternatives for teams who want outbound done for them
Clay is a data platform for go-to-market teams. You work in tables, pull from more than 150 data providers, chain them into waterfalls, add custom research with its Claygent agent and trigger workflows from signals. For a team with a GTM engineer, that flexibility is the point.
For a founder or a small team, that can be more machine than you want to run. If you need qualified leads and messages going out every week, not a workflow to maintain, the tools below do more of the work for you. Prices are as of October 2026, and we also say where Clay is still the better pick.

How we picked
- Who does the work: the tool on its own, or you designing each workflow.
- Channels: email, LinkedIn and anything beyond outreach.
- Control: sending from your own accounts, caps, budgets and stop rules.
- Price clarity: what each vendor publishes, and how usage is billed.
The list
1. AI GTM Brain
Early accessBest for: Founders and small B2B teams who want outbound and the rest of GTM run for them
Instead of a table, you get a team. You enter your website, the brain writes a one-page brief, and seven agents work every weekday: research finds leads with evidence and a source, LinkedIn and email agents reach out from your own accounts, and others write posts, Reddit answers and partner notes. Leads show up within minutes of sign-up.
Good- No workflow to build: it works every weekday on its own
- 30+ data sources, from funding rounds and job posts to verified work emails
- A price before every paid call, and budgets per run and per week
Less good- Early access, opened to a few teams at a time
- No CRM sync or API today
- You steer it with a brief and plain-language jobs, not a table you configure
2. Gojiberry AI
From $99/monthBest for: Founders who want one agent to find warm leads and contact them for a flat price
Gojiberry reads your website, watches for buying signals such as engagement with competitors, scores prospects against your ideal customer and contacts them by email and on social channels. It can run on autopilot or wait for your approval, and the Pro plan lists two agents and up to 1,800 prospects contacted a month.
Good- A flat published price for the Pro plan
- Website visitor identification and phone enrichment included
- CRM, API and MCP integrations, including HubSpot, Pipedrive and Attio
Less good- Contact volume is capped per plan, with more available
- Its public pages cover prospecting and outreach, not posts or community answers
3. Pancake
From $99/month per workspaceBest for: Teams that want scheduled lead searches without tables, and approval on every lead
Pancake turns each GTM idea into a play, a lead search that reruns on a schedule, using eight methods including competitor post engagement, hiring, tech stack, recent funding and lookalikes. You approve each lead before messages go out under your name on LinkedIn and email.
Good- Scheduled lead searches you describe in plain terms
- 30+ data providers included, among them Dealroom, TheirStack and Coresignal
- Runs from Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Codex as well as its web app
Less good- Credit-based: a work email found costs 50 credits
- Extra sending accounts cost $39/month each
4. Lemlist
From $55/month (billed yearly)Best for: Teams that want a lead database and a sequencer in one tool and will run campaigns themselves
If you mostly used Clay to find emails before a sequence, Lemlist puts a 650M+ lead database, email and phone finding and the sequencer in one place. You build campaigns across email, LinkedIn, calls and SMS, with deliverability tools in every plan.
Good- Low entry price, with unlimited users on the Email plan
- Email warm-up and a deliverability hub included
- Connects to Clay, Make, n8n and major CRMs if you keep both
Less good- You still write and manage the campaigns
- Lead data and buying signals are paid add-ons
5. Artisan
Not publicBest for: Sales teams that want an AI BDR on email with onboarding support
Artisan's Ava finds leads from 250M+ verified B2B contacts, writes outreach, handles replies and books meetings, sending in your reps' names from your own domains. Plans are scoped by lead volume, mailboxes and dialer seats, and each comes with onboarding and a CSM in a shared Slack channel.
Good- Two-way Salesforce and HubSpot sync
- Approval before sending, locked tone and banned phrases
- SOC 2 Type II certified, with SSO/SAML
Less good- No public price; plans are scoped on a sales call
- Built around email, with calls left to your reps
6. 11x
Not publicBest for: Revenue teams that need agents on voice, chat and SMS as well as outbound
11x runs agents across voice, chat, email, social, SMS and WhatsApp, for outbound, inbound and account expansion. Its agents draw on CRM context and signals such as funding, hiring and tech stack.
Good- Inbound voice and chat agents alongside outbound
- Website visitor de-anonymization
- Broad CRM and email integrations
Less good- No public price; it starts with a demo
- Positioned for large revenue teams
Clay pricing in short
Clay bills in two units. Actions measure the work the platform does, such as running a table, an enrichment or an AI call. Data credits pay for data bought from its marketplace of 150+ providers. If you bring your own API keys, you use actions but no data credits. Plans as of October 2026, billed monthly:
- Free: 500 actions and 100 data credits a month, up to 200 rows per table.
- Launch: from $185 a month, with 15,000 actions and 2,500 data credits a month, phone enrichment, signals and email sequencing.
- Growth: from $495 a month, with 40,000 actions and 6,000 data credits a month, CRM sync, HTTP API and webhook integrations.
- Enterprise: custom pricing with an annual commitment.
- Annual billing saves 10%. Data credits start at $0.05 each, unused actions reset every cycle, and unused data credits roll over up to twice the monthly amount on Launch and Growth.
How to choose a Clay alternative
Ask what you actually used Clay for. If it was enrichment and email finding ahead of a sequence, Lemlist covers both in one tool. If it was signal-based lead lists, Pancake and Gojiberry run those searches for you on a schedule. If you want the whole loop handled, from research to outreach to posts, AI GTM Brain runs it every weekday within set budgets.
Then check billing. Clay and Pancake use credits, so cost follows usage. Gojiberry and Lemlist publish flat plan prices. Artisan and 11x scope a plan on a sales call.
When to stay with Clay
- You have a GTM engineer or ops person who likes building and maintaining workflows.
- You need custom data points from many providers, with waterfalls you control.
- You sync with a CRM or data warehouse, or push audiences to LinkedIn and Meta ads.
- You need enterprise controls such as SSO, SCIM and role-based access.
- You want a free plan to experiment with before you pay.
Questions
How much does Clay cost?
As of October 2026: a free plan, Launch from $185 a month, Growth from $495 a month (about 10% less billed annually) and custom Enterprise pricing. Paid plans include set amounts of actions and data credits, and extra data credits cost a 30% premium.
What is the best Clay alternative?
If you want outbound done for you, look at AI GTM Brain, Gojiberry or Pancake. To keep running campaigns yourself with built-in lead data, Lemlist. For larger sales teams, Artisan or 11x. If you need custom data work at scale, Clay may still be the right tool.
Who are Clay's competitors?
It depends on which part of Clay you compare. For lead lists and enrichment, Lemlist's lead database and Pancake's included data providers overlap with it. For outbound that runs itself, AI sales agents such as Gojiberry, Artisan, 11x and AI GTM Brain compete for the same budget.
Is there a free alternative to Clay?
Clay itself has a free plan. Among the alternatives here, Lemlist offers a 14-day free trial, Gojiberry a free trial and Pancake a 7-day trial with a card. AI GTM Brain is in early access with no public price yet.
Can AI GTM Brain replace Clay?
For a small team that used Clay to find leads and feed outreach, it can: the brain finds leads with evidence from 30+ data sources and reaches out on LinkedIn and email from your own accounts. It has no CRM sync, API or table you design, so teams that rely on those should keep Clay.
